Sept. 6, 1972 – FAIR ROYALTY AND AWARDS
Honest king and queen, named Thursday evening, are Greg McCormick and Gayla Power of the Lakeside Lakers 4-H membership. The pair presided over the model revue Friday and the awards program Saturday. Awards included H.Ok. Paisley, Spirit Lake, for greatest uddered cow, Cutie, and Bonner County Dairy Queen, Doris. The Selma Calhoun Barker excellent artwork award for youngsters underneath 14 went to Daniel Powell of Hope. Polly Hart of the Selle Satellites received the Sayers Jewelers house economics judging trophy and Rose McNall of Gold ‘n Grouse received the Sayers livestock judging trophy. The Pomona Grange herdsmanship trophy went to the Schweitzer Valley Dwellers. Debra Gornick, Hoodoo Hustlers, received the dairy venture award, sponsored by Eclipse Printery. Sandpoint Chamber of Commerce excellent 4-H lady and boy junior leaders had been Linda Murray, Kootenai Klover Klub, and Matt Kirking, Lakeside Lakers.

BUILDING BEGINS ON NEW HOSPITAL

WHITE COMPANY LOCATES AT DOVER
